On November 2nd party “Latvijas attīstībai” held its annual congress where Minister of Environmental Protection and Regional Development Juris Pūce reported on his progress in a ministerial position.
During congress Minister of Defense Artis Pabriks, Member of European Parliament Ivars Ijabs, Head of “Latvijas attīstībai” faction in Riga’s City Council, Health Minister Ilze Viņķele (Attīstībai/Par!) and Member of Parliament Andris Skride (Attīstībai/Par!) addressed congress delegates with opening speeches.
During congress “Latvijas attīstībai” presented its new visual identity, that bears connections with other Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe member parties, and portrays party’s liberal ideological stances.
Moreover, the party had also supported several resolutions, that help “Latvijas attīstībai” to prepare for upcoming Riga’s municipal elections, cement its support for environmentally friendly policies, and uphold its support for Administrative division reform that is proposed by our Minister of Environmental Protection and Regional Development Juris Pūce.
Besides, two new members of the Revision Commission were elected.
